30-Acre Missouri Certified Site at Union Corporate Center
August 23, 2011 - The City of Union and the Union Development Corporation have taken another step in the effort to lure future industrial development to Union with 30 acres in the Union Corporate Center being designated a Missouri Certified Site.   The site in Union Corporate Center is the 8^th Certified Site in Missouri and the 1^st in the St. Louis Area.  Certification of the site demonstrates to potential prospects that the site is “shovel ready.”

A certified site is considered “shovel ready” with road access, a full range of utility-supported infrastructure available, geo-technical testing and environmental compliance inspections completed and many additional supporting documents are reviewed by a team of 10 individuals from throughout the state perform a comprehensive review of the application.
